Hotel Solar dos Lilases transformed from an old palace into a charming hotel, offers a unique blend of historical ambiance and modern comfort. While the rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is stunning, the lack of an elevator can be inconvenient for some guests. The on-site restaurant serves excellent regional food, although I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy a meal as the chef was on holiday.
